Dr. Mehrzad Mahdavi - President and CEO
Dr. Mehrzad Mahdavi is an internationally recognized executive with a track record of creating and growing global technology enterprises. He is currently President and CEO of Dexa Systems, a global technology venture providing cyber-security and digital oilfield solutions. Prior to this position, he was President of Enterprise Security Services, a business unit of Schlumberger. Dr. Mahdavi served as an executive in Schlumberger for 24 years during which he held a variety of management positions in technology, field operations, marketing, consulting, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions. Dr. Mahdavi received his B.S. degree in engineering from the University of Illinois and M.S. and Ph.D. in Nuclear physics and engineering from the University of Michigan.
Howard Anders - CFO
Howard Anders has more than 15 years of experience with a proven track record of effectively managing the growth of $10M-$5B public and private corporations. Prior to join Dexa Systems he has served as vice president and chief financial officer for such companies as QVision LLC, Brennan Enterprises, L.L.C., Hospitality Worldwide Services, and Alpine Lace Brands. He has successfully redirected companies, increased profitability, and enhanced operating performance.
Herb Yuan - CTO
Herb Yuan is VP and CIO for Dexa Systems. Herb retired from Shell after 33 years in a variety of technology and upstream management positions. His last assignment was CIO for the upstream head office, which included technology and exploration organizations with priorities on high performance computing, information management and software engineering. Herb also served on leadership teams associated with technology organizations as well as initiating the Shell Gamechanger enterprise innovation process. He is serving and has served on a variety of boards. Previously, Herb was Chairman of the board of POSC (later renamed Energistics), on the board of the OpenSpirit Corporation and the advisory board of the Rice Alliance. He currently serves on the board of NSI Technologies as well as on the board of the Hermann Park Conservancy. Herb is a member of the SPE. Herb enjoys cycling, golf and reading. Herb received his PhD in Chemical Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Math from the Australian National University.
Glen Mullen - Director of Engineering
Glen Mullen has more than 20 years of experience in software engineering design, development and management. He has over 10 years of experience in identity and access management with a focus on strong authentication using smart cards and biometrics. Prior to this role, Glen was the Director of Product Development and Marketing for Schlumberger Enterprise Security Services. He has managed globally distributed engineering teams for Schlumberger, Lockheed-Martin and Loral Space Information Systems. In 1990 Glen received a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from Lamar University and holds patents in network security.
Gary Leibowitz - VP Sales & Marketing
Gary Leibowitz is a technology executive with extensive international experience in high-tech sales, marketing, business development, P&L and general management. Formerly, he worked as General Manager at Panda Security USA, Field Marketing VP for Americas at BMC Software, EMEA Channels VP at BMC Software and Security Sales VP at BMC and New Dimension Software.
